If your keyword has a Windows Logo Key (normally located between the ALT and CTRL key) you can use the following shortcuts:

  • Winkey: Display the Start Menu
  • Winkey+D: Minimize all open windows and display your desktop instead
  • Winkey+D+Shift: Restore all windows
  • Winkey+E: Display Windows Explorer
  • Winkey+F: Find Files and Folders
  • Winkey+CTRL+F: Search Results Utility
  • Winkey+F1: Display Windows Help
  • Winkey+R: Display the Run dialog box

  • CTRL+Down Arrow – Move insertion point to beginning of next paragraph
  • CTRL+Up Arrow – Move insertion point to beginning of previous paragraph
  • CTRL+Shift – Select block of text in chosen direction
  • CTRL+F4 – Close the current document
  • ALT+F4 – Ext from the existing program
  • ALT+Spacebar – Display the system menu
  • ALT+undetermined letter in menu – Open corresponding menu
  • Shift+F10 – Display the context menu for the selected menu
  • F10 – Activates the menu bar
  • Esc – Cancel the current action
