AN EXTENDED WARRANTY?

Extended Warranty….Should I….or Shouldn’t I???
This is the question!!
Extended warranties are a good thing as long as the consumer is fully
aware of what the warranty covers and what it does not.
Most extended warranties are not truly extended warranties but rather
an extension of the benefits which are covered by the manufacturer’s
warranty.
Read your warranty cover to cover prior to making a decision. Most
computer warranties cover the following:
• Service and protection to keep your gear working like new
• No-hassle, cost-free repair or replacement
• Power surge protection from day one
• Nationwide service network
• If we can't fix it, we'll replace it
• No estimates, no deductibles, no shipping costs
• No record-keeping—we track it for you
• Transferable to new owner—ideal for gift-giving or resale
• Repair, shipping and laptop battery replacement
• Some company’s offer a no lemon policy
• In-home service option
• 24 – 7 – 365 support
Listed below are the main things an extended warranty “WILL
NOT” cover:
• Coincidental or accidental damage
• Abuse
• Neglect
• Water/Liquid damage
• Software Issues i.e. Spyware, Viruses, Windows glitches, etc.
• Theft
Whatever the product and whatever the warranty please know your options
before making a decision
